Position Summary
Drive the development of Responsible Gaming (RG) at GEG with responsibility covering 1) designing and implementing staff engagement and training initiatives; 2) managing RG-related government affairs and ensuring compliance with regulations; c) developing stakeholder network to support the continuous improvement of RG programs; d) serving as a spokesperson on RG matters; and e) strengthening GEG's reputation through designing and implementing RG programs that contribute to the community.
Primary Responsibility
• Work closely with internal partners and DICJ to ensure effective implementation of responsible gaming guidelines and regulations
• Liaise and build relationships with RG-related Government departments, academic institutions and local associations to identify opportunities for program enhancement and to strengthen GEG presence in the RG's space
• Identify opportunities and work with relevant departments to create exposure for RG initiatives within and outside the company
• Monitor regulations and propose solutions to protect GEG's interests
• Strategize and plan various RG roadshows, promotions and events for both team members and the community to support government’s RG initiatives
• Gather and analyse RG trends (programs and policies) carried out by other gaming operators both locally and internationally
• Ensure the quality of service of the Responsible Gaming Program for GEG team members to enhance their awareness and in full compliance with the related laws and regulations
• Ensure responsible gaming is well promoted and available for patrons
• Maintain effective linage between Responsible Gaming Advisory Committee (RGAC) and Responsible Gaming Management Team (RGMT) within the Group
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in government studies/responsible gaming and/or related fields
• Over 10 years of experience working in public relations/communications/government affairs/employee engagement in Macau
• Knowledge of RG regulations preferred
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, and able to communicate with different groups of people on different levels
• Demonstrate business acumen, leadership, and team spirit
• Creative with strong degree of professionalism and integrity
• Solid time management and organization skills with strong attention to detail
• Able to multi-task, be flexible and meet aggressive deadlines
