Manager - Fixed Assets

Position Summary

Manager – Fixed Assets is responsible for supporting Senior Manager to manage all aspects of the Fixed Assets cycle including capital expenditure budgeting and cost tracking, accounting process and internal controls, compliance with the required laws and regulations, process improvement and automation, supervision and guidance to the team.

Primary Responsibility

 - Manage the accounting process to ensure the required procedures and reports are done accurately and timely
 - Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, accounting standards and and local laws and regulations
 - Automate/streamline the process to enhance the efficiency of the team
 - Review the reconciliations and reports and follow up the issues
 - Provide accounting assistance and advice to business units on fixed assets related questions
 - Respond to financial questions from internal audit and external audit
 - Provide supervision and guidance to the subordinates and educate personnel to improve their technical knowledge
 - Provide analysis and statistics and prepare reports/proposals for business needs.
 - Collaborate with other finance teams and various departments to support Senior Manager to handle other ad hoc assignments.
 

Requirements

 - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant disciplines with professional qualification is preferred
 - At least 6 year relevant experience gained in sizable hotels with minimum 2 years managerial experience
 - Strong motivation, proactive and diligent
 - Excellent organizational skill and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
 - Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
 - Proficiency in computer skills, particularly on MS Words, Excel and PowerPoint
 - Knowledge in SAP is an advantage
 - Fluent in English and Cantonese
