Job Summary

To provide a professional cleaning service throughout the guest rooms and front and back of house areas on guest floors ensuring that the presentation is always of a five start standard.  Establish a good working relationship with colleagues and maintain a positive interaction with guests.

Responsibilities

  • Always wear a clean and tidy uniform, well groomed
  • Work in a supportive and flexible manner with all departments with a sincere and positive attitude
  • Maintains all operating equipment in good, clean working order • Reads and completes task assignment accurately
  • Checks, replenish and post mini bar consumption accurately
  • Reports all room defects in a timely manner
  • Clean and make up guest rooms, occupied stay over and check out per the standard as trained in order to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Maintains cleanliness in guest corridors and elevator landings
  • Maintains the standard/presentation of the room attendants trolley
  • Maintains the standard/presentation of the guest floor pantries and elevator landing areas
  • Follows the correct standard on garbage recycling
  • Follows the correct standard on energy consumption
  • Maintains the correct standard of all operating equipment
  • Refreshes flower/plant set up in guest rooms
  • Provides turndown service in the evening
  • Attends training session as scheduled by Superiors
  • Comply with departmental and hotel policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as requested by Managers/Supervisors

Requirements

  • Primary school graduated
  • Pleasant and friendly manner
  • Fit and healthy
  • No previous experience required
  • Fluent in spoken Cantonese or Mandarin
  • Able to read in Cantonese or Mandarin
