Senior Manager - Media Relations

Position Summary

Develop, recommend and supervise the implementation of a strategic media plan on a timely basis in order to build the best media perception in regional markets, including Macau, Hong Kong, China, and international markets. Engage with target journalists and media channels, focusing on the Intergrated Resort/Corporate aspects of the company/business, in order to build and leverage on personal relationships to communicate messages that GEG intends to disseminate. Oversee the market intelligence and related news particularly in Macau, HK and China; alert senior management with appropriate information and/or recommendations when needed in a timely and proactive manner.

Primary Responsibility

• Provide a stable systems environment for all nominated systems by identifying and rectifying potential concerns, be able to provide quick and accurate problem diagnosis.

Requirements

• Certificates and/or degrees in communications/public relations is a must; • At least 7 years solid experiences working in media/media relations/public relations fields; • Good relationships with and comprehensive knowledge in various kind of media; • Understanding of the Chinese culture and Chinese way of socializing and protocols; • Proficiency in leveraging social media platforms • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and able to communicate with different groups of people on different levels; • Demonstrate team spirit and cooperation; • Creative mind set, strong and effective interpersonal skills; • Ability to work long hours and under pressure; • Computer literacy and good customer oriented character.
