Position Summary
The Welcome Ambassador serves as the primary point of contact for guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience. To represent Galaxy Macau, aim to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all individuals. The Welcome Ambassador offers assistance, information, and guidance to ensure a smooth and memorable experience.
Primary Responsibility
• Welcome and greet guests with a friendly and approachable Asian Heart gesture.
• Offer directions, guidance, and assistance as needed to ensure a smooth property experience of every guest.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the organization or community, including its services, amenities, and events.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding schedules, programs, activities, and locations.
• Answer inquiries, address concerns, and offer solutions to ensure visitor satisfaction.
• Offer guidance on navigating the premises, including maps, brochures, or digital resources.
• Engage with individuals on a personal level, actively listening to their needs and interests.
• Embrace and respect diversity, acknowledging and appreciating different cultures, backgrounds, and languages.
• Foster an inclusive environment that celebrates and welcomes individuals from all walks of life.
• Adapt communication and interaction styles to accommodate cultural differences.
• Collaborate with relevant departments or supervisors when necessary to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions.
• Actively promote upcoming events, programs, or initiatives to generate interest and participation.
• Utilize various channels, such as social media, newsletters, or in-person interactions, to create awareness.
• Encourage individuals to attend events, highlighting the benefits and opportunities for engagement.
• Solicit feedback from guests to evaluate their experience and identify areas for improvement.
• Document feedback, suggestions, or concerns, and relay them to the appropriate departments or management.
• Participate in regular meetings or discussions to share insights and contribute to enhancing the visitor experience.
Requirements
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Strong communication abilities, including active listening and effective verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of the organization or community, including its services, facilities, and programs.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and handle unexpected challenges.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or community engagement is desirable.
• Fluent in multiple languages, not limited to Mandarin and English.
