职务概述

Responsible for plan out the training strategies, development, delivery and quality assurance for the department, this position will ensure each section able to equally receive specific training needs base on skillset requirements and coordinate with relevant stakeholders. In addition to delivery, maintain all training records, and coordinate with OD&T to meet annual training needs/goals.

岗位职责

  • From the direction of Department Head to determine and develop a learning and training strategy that best fits the operational needs of each section
  • Consolidate and coordinate training requirements and enrollment of all sections under the department, with OD&T and/or other outsourced service providers, work with department leadership (People Managers) and align with OD&T to develop an annual training Plan and establish priorities
  • Periodically review the disciplinary violations with People Managers, in order to provide certain kind of training for continuous improvement
  • Formalize, implement and evaluate training strategies to achieve operations effectiveness and efficiency, to develop and update training outlines, training manuals and support materials if necessary
  • Conduct Train-The-Trainer seminars to certify Departmental Trainers on facilitating their departmental training, and provide ongoing coaching and guidance to ensure consistency in standards
  • Continue lead and QA Departmental Trainers to ensure consistent of training quality and meet changing of business needs
  • Develop, implement and evaluate systems to ensure training delivery and audit training effectiveness and results, meet with TMs of the department on a regular basis to survey their training needs
  • Be the guardian of the departmental operations training Manual and Specific Operating Procedures to ensure maximum comforts for internal/ external guests
  • Develop and implement a job proficiency quality assurance program for all sections, to ensure the team is trained to deliver thoughtful, intuitive and gracious service with highest level of consistency embracing elements of brand standard
  • Engage and collaborate with other BUs like CEM and OD&T to get the level of consistency and excellence through the entire customer journey
  • Maintain a training library with current, state of the art training materials for each section
  • Keep abreast of operations procedures changes and to revise appropriately all of the training materials
  • Keep abreast of the industry best practices to identify the training needs and evaluate the training trends. Remain vigilant to new competitive training related developments, hospitality trends, and other market insight & innovation through regular research
  • Act as an internal performance consultant, involved in facilitating departmental meetings, focus groups and team-building activities as required
  • Prepare regular departmental training report, annual training plans, training calendars and training budget, measure and report outcomes by ensuring consistency and providing quality assurance oversight to program design, delivery, trainer development and accurate training records
  • Ensure the venue and equipment of EVS Training Studio are well maintained, and for the required training programs are well planned

任职要求

  • University degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 5 years work experience as a Departmental Trainer and above
  • Thorough knowledge of modern learning and development tools and technique
  • Solid background in EVS related field
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Good communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin are a must
  • Be a high energy team player
  • Demonstrate consultation skills with key stakeholder groups / management to understand their T&D needs
