Financial Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis) 1

职务概述

Review and validate financial data on GEG business, interpret prevailing trends and prepare reports for review by management and manage a team of analysts working on financial projects

岗位职责

- Improves financial status by analysing; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management - Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data - Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data - Maintains, distribute and improves deliberables and reports to answer business questions - Writes advanced SQL to translate arithmetic solutions/statistical models to implementable code - Writes SQL for exploratory analysis and use visualisation techniques to communicate insights and recommendations to business - Conducts market research study and writes report on the research subject - Develops and analyses ad-hoc reports, presentations and financial analysis based on management requests

任职要求

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science / Information Systems or related discipline such as Statistics, Applied Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, etc. - experience using SQL for analysis including collecting, assembling, cleansing and formatting data, and validation of results - experience using visualisation techniques for presenting data and analysis - knowledge of Tableau is a plus - Prior experience using At least one programming language to move and parse data sets is preferred - Previous work experience in analytical roles are strongly preferred - Strong English writing skills - Proficient in all MS Office applications and technical skills, e.g. an understanding of Visual Basic, SQL, Cognos,SAS are preferred
