Description:
Position Summary
- Provide professional assistance to customers on wines recommendations At their most of their perceived value and Serve wines and beverages.
- Accountable for wines sales and achieve the wine sales target
- Assist with monitoring wine inventory and supplies.
Primary Responsibility
- Provide professional assistance to customers on wines recommendation At their most of their perceived value
- Serve wines and beverages professionally to customers.
- ensure wine quality, hygiene and work place safety established standards are achieved
- Participate in wine list planning and Accountable for wines sales and achieve the wine sales target
- Assist to monitor wine inventory and ensure adequate supplies.
- ensure all wine prices and vintages are updated on a regular basis
- Supervise and execute wine and Beverage marketing strategies based on management plans and decision
- Representing service team to collaborate with different outlets for to ensure smooth and efficient wine service and operations
- Assist with wine knowledge and service skills training
- support day-to-day operation to ensure the overall smoothness when required, and delivering the prompt service At all time
Requirements
Education:
- Degree/certificate in accredited sommelier program (e.g. WSET)
Experience:
- 5 years at a 5-star hotel or reputable restaurant
Knowledge and Skills:
- FandB product and service knowledge
- Knowledgeable with wine
- Alert with FandB related trends
- Advance customer service skills
- Good supervisory skills
- Meticulous and attention to details
- Fundamental computer skills
Others:
- Fluent with Cantonese or Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
- Team player
