GEG Signs MOU with UTM to Launch the “IRISE Program”

GEG hosted the “IR Talent Empowerment Showcase”, joining hands with Macao University of Tourism (“UTM”) to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) on talent development. The partnership includes the launch of the new “Integrated Resort Innovative Service Experts Program” (“IRISE Program”) and the continuation of the “Experience Macao with GEG” program, first introduced in 2024 – further strengthening academia-industry collaboration to nurture integrated resort talent with global perspectives and professional excellence.

Ms. Fanny Vong, Rector of UTM, and Ms. Eileen Lui, Group Director of Human Resources and Administration of GEG, signed the MOU on behalf of both parties. The event was also attended by Ms. Chan Tze Wai, Deputy Director of the Labour Affairs Bureau (“DSAL”); Ms. Cheung Wai, Head of the Vocational Training Department of DSAL; Ms. Cindia Lam, Dean of the Institute of Executive and Professional Development of UTM; Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG, and other GEG executives.

Certificates were also presented to graduates of the IR Youth Development Program, jointly organized by GEG and DSAL, as well as participants of GEG’s flagship internal training programs, which together have provided training and employment opportunities to over 500 local talents, supporting their continued growth ".

GEG “U-LEAD Internship Program 2026” Graduation Ceremony

GEG “U-LEAD Internship Program 2026” graduation ceremony for Macau University of Science and Technology students was successfully held recently! At the ceremony, GEG’s management team and SiFu were present to extend their heartfelt congratulations to the interns.

In the first half of this year, the U-LEAD Internship Program welcomed a total of 42 interns, among whom 21 students from Macau University of Science and Technology are about to complete their four month internship journey. They were from Hotel and MICE Operations, Food and Beverage, Marketing Services, Entertainment Services, Procurement, and Finance.

On the day of the ceremony, three intern representatives shared their valuable journey, each story reflecting transformation and growth. Though the time was short, their experiences were filled with challenges and learning, leaving a unique mark of personal development at GEG.

Congratulations to all graduates, and thank you to everyone who made this program possible. We look forward to seeing these shining new stars continue to thrive on their future career paths!

GEG Actively Participates in “Job Fair and Career Guidance Fair for Macau Youth” to Help Macau Youth Explore New Career Directions

Organized by the Macau Labour Affairs Bureau and the Education and Youth Development Bureau, the “Job Fair and Career Guidance Fair for Macau Youth” were successfully held on May 7-9 at the Macau Forum. Galaxy Entertainment Group actively participated in the initiative, offering employment opportunities across multiple business areas to local youth and fresh graduates, while also arranging on-site interviews to help them seize valuable job opportunities.

GEG was also honored to participate in the seminar sessions of the “Career Guidance Fair for Macao Youth” to sharing the company introduced, industry prospects, and the latest market information with local youth, helping them understand the development trends of the integrated tourism and leisure industry. In addition, GEG promoted details of the new phase of the “Employment + Training” co-organized with DSAL and GEG — “ IR Youth Development Program.” This program will hold career talk and on-site interviews for the position of “Resort Services” in the Integrated Resort Services on May 19, we will provide a series of professional training covering frontline operational skills in integrated entertainment services, guest relations management, and industry knowledge.

GEG actively supports the SAR Government’s initiative to promote youth employment. By participating in this large-scale youth employment fair, provides more job opportunities for local young but also aims to cultivate a new generation of professional talents.
