“GEG IR Youth Development Program” Opens Up Diverse Career Opportunities
The first “GEG IR Youth Development Program (Hotel Operations)” of the year, co-organized by GEG and the Macau Labour Affairs Bureau (“DSAL”), successfully took place on March 16. The event attracted many local talents and aimed to provide aspiring talents interested in joining the integrated tourism and leisure industry with clear career direction and diverse employment opportunities. Through the program, participants can quickly acquire professional knowledge and skills in hotel and resort operations under a comprehensive training system and diversified development framework, following a “Employment + Training Program” approach that supports upward career mobility. During the event, we arrange a session to help job seekers understand the job responsibilities of hotel operations, the training system, promotion pathways, and future career prospects. To enhance job application convenience, department heads from the Hotel Operations team were invited to conduct on-site interviews.
GEG will continue collaborating with various community stakeholders to launch more employment and training initiatives, nurturing outstanding local talents for Macau’s integrated tourism and leisure industry and creating a brighter future together.

GEG × UTM Career Sharing Session — Kickstarting Youth Career Development
GEG has been committed to nurturing local young talent and actively providing diverse learning and career development platforms for Macau students. Recently, GEG co-organized a Career Development Sharing Session with the Macau University of Tourism (UTM), offering students preparing for internships or employment valuable industry insights and career guidance.
The seminar featured two guest speakers—Ms. Valerie Siu, Manager of Hotel Training & Communications and Ms. Carolina Lou, Manager of F&B Training & Communication. They shared the development paths, core functions, and workflow of the Hotel Operations and F&B departments, as well as their personal career journeys. Their sharing allowed students to gain deeper insight into departmental collaboration and the extensive development opportunities within the industry.
GEG also introduced the company’s profile and future development plans, with a key focus on the “GEG Integrated Resort Internship Program”. The session provided detailed information to help students understand the internship structure, training model, and long-term career potential. An on-site interview session was also available, attracting many students to submit applications and engage in direct interaction.
GEG continues to maintain close collaboration with major local educational institutions. Through seminars, internship programs, and talent development initiatives, GEG not only provides industry knowledge but also aims to encourage young people to explore personal interests and chart a clear career path for the future.

They also toured the Hong Kong Palace Museum to admire treasured artifacts from Beijing’s Palace Museum and viewed the “Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums”, gaining valuable insights into the profound legacies of both Eastern and Western civilizations.
Cultural Heritage, Careers Set Sail
With the theme of “Cultural Heritage, Careers Set Sail” for its 15th edition, GEG jointly launched a diverse range of cultural experiences with the Macau Management Association.
