Recently, GEG and Macau Federation of Trade Unions (FAOM) jointly organized the “CV Writing Workshop' has attracted lots local residents to participate. By sharing CV writing technic, things to note and pre-interview preparations, they can enhance the personal competitiveness and to prepare for their future career.

GEG x Faculty of Business Administration of University of Macau co-organized “Career Day”

GEG is committed to nurturing Macau young talent and actively exploring career development opportunities for local youth. This year marks the 4th consecutive year that GEG has partnered with the University of Macau’s Faculty of Business Administration to organize the “Career Day”. The event aims to share the importance of career planning with graduating students and invited Mr. Timothy Tsui – Assistant Vice President of Hotel Training and Communication to share his extensive over 13 years of hotel work experiences and discuss the development prospects of the hotel industry in Macau.

The career day includes not only career advisory and interactive Q&A sessions but also invited training managers from GEG F&B and hotel departments to share their knowledge and experience in the career field with the students. Additionally, there was also on-site interview session to provide more career opportunities for the graduating students.

GEG has always been committed to supporting the cultivation of  local young talents and is proactively cooperate with the Macau SAR government’s “1+4: strategy to promote diversified employment. Recently, GEG was invited by Macau Labour Affairs Bureau to organize the “2024 Development Training + Specialized Employment Programs” Career Talk in University of Saint Joseph and Macau Institute for Tourism Studies, to share career advice and introduce GEG IR Youth Program, also to provide career consultation and Q&A sessions. The talk allows local young talents to set directions and goals prior to graduation so as to prepare ahead for their career planning.
