GEG organized “Chinese Dining Etiquette Workshop” for university students

GEG has been dedicated to fostering the growth of talents through various initiatives over the years. To further promote Chinese culture and encourage cultural exchange, GEG was invited to conduct a “Chinese Dining Etiquette Workshop” for local and international students from Lui Che Woo College at University of Macau. By showcasing Chinese dining culture, services and current industry trends, the workshop aims to provide students with learning opportunities while inheriting unique Chinese culinary culture.

GEG organized “Chinese Dining Etiquette Workshop” for university students

GEG has been dedicated to fostering the growth of talents through various initiatives over the years. To further promote Chinese culture and encourage cultural exchange, GEG was invited to conduct a “Chinese Dining Etiquette Workshop” for local and international students from Lui Che Woo College at University of Macau. By showcasing Chinese dining culture, services and current industry trends, the workshop aims to provide students with learning opportunities while inheriting unique Chinese culinary culture.

GEG x DSAL “IR Youth Development Program”

GEG is committed in supporting the comprehensive development of local talents, GEG and the Macau Labour Affairs Bureau (“DSAL”) have cooperated to launch two employment + training special programs, providing more than 40 job opportunities and offering comprehensive training and career development opportunities for local talents who aspire to enter the integrated tourism and leisure service industry.

The two sessions of the “IR Youth Development Program” career day have successfully concluded, with almost 200 local talents were invited to participate. On the day of the event, GEG recruitment representatives introduced the future development of GEG and explained the content of the program. Department heads from Integrated Resort Services department and Security department were also invited to conduct on-the-spot interviews, allowing applicants to gain a deeper understanding of the job responsibilities. Since 2023, GEG has cooperated with DSAL to launch four “IR Youth Development Program”, and will continue to collaborate in the future to launch different programs, providing more diverse job opportunities for local talents.

GEG x Faculty of Business Administration of University of Macau co-organized “Career Day”

GEG is committed to nurturing Macau young talent and actively exploring career development opportunities for local youth. This year marks the 4th consecutive year that GEG has partnered with the University of Macau’s Faculty of Business Administration to organize the “Career Day”. The event aims to share the importance of career planning with graduating students and invited Mr. Timothy Tsui – Assistant Vice President of Hotel Training and Communication to share his extensive over 13 years of hotel work experiences and discuss the development prospects of the hotel industry in Macau.

The career day includes not only career advisory and interactive Q&A sessions but also invited training managers from GEG F&B and hotel departments to share their knowledge and experience in the career field with the students. Additionally, there was also on-site interview session to provide more career opportunities for the graduating students.
