Assistant Manager (Landscape)

Position Summary

Supervision and management of outsourced contractors or vendors in the provision of landscape services. Supervision of  Supervisors, Team Leaders and Gardeners. Manage inventory of landscape materials and equipment. Assist and perform related duties as assign by Manager/Senior Manager/AVP – Landscape.

Primary Responsibility

• Supervision of outsourced contractors or vendors in the provision of landscape services, which includes keeping records and conducting meetings
• Provide directions and supervision of Supervisors, Team Leaders and Gardeners
• Supervise and manage the inventory of landscape materials and equipment. Monitor Maximo process
• Assist to monitor and execute service contract and purchases
• Monitor performance of landscape team members, provide counselling when necessary
• Assist in the monitoring the performance of contractor during DLP
• Assist or perform related duties as assign by Manager/SM/AVP – Landscape
• Conduct in-house training for Landscape team members

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a large 5 stars Hotel/Resort/Residential or Commercial 
• Complex or well-established Landscaping Company
• Strong hands-on experience and sound knowledge in landscape maintenance works
• Familiar with related equipment operations
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage, lead and develop the team
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team environment
• Possess high level of professional attitude and a strong work ethic
• Diploma in Horticulture or relevant disciplines or certified horticulturist
