Assistant Manager - Finance (Development)

Position Summary
Assistant Manager - Finance (Development) will work closely with management and related stakeholders to develop and support financial operations specific to project in areas such as budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, reporting, and financial modeling.
Primary Responsibility
- Assist Manager/Senior Manager in managing the project budgets and on-going forecasting processes
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for key management
- Review monthly department P&L and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Support management and key business stakeholders in cost tracking, financial analysis and business modeling
- Advice business stakeholders in respective to accounting book keeping principles and the impact on project cost
- Prepare required documents, supporting and assist with the NG11 audit process
- Conduct project based analysis, including but not limited to payroll, marketing costs, total costing and other ad hoc topics relevant to project management.
- Collaborate with management and related stakeholders to devise and implement on-going business improvement projects
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; advanced degree or certification preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in financial analysis, budgeting or management accounting, preferably in the construction industry
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with SAP FI/CO
- Prior experience in preparation of business financial model for ROI and project management
- Excellent problem solving and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization skill problem solving and analytical skills
