Position Summary

The primary role of the position is to support the Senior Manager in video content design & development for the GEG enterprise programs.  He/ She will also be supporting to work with procurement to source, identify qualified vendors for eLearning development when necessary, and be accountable for the quality of training content. With his/her video making and training content development skillset, the position will be fully responsible to develop a professional training content.  He/ She will need to be able to work independently within the guidelines provided by the Senior Manager. The position will also be assisting the Senior Manager in governing both classroom and online program content, to ensure quality and consistency across properties, and manage the content of programs to support GEG's culture, MVV and Asian Heart service philosophy initiatives.

Primary Responsibility

  • Supports the Senior Manager in designing and developing first in class, innovative & blended learning programs to nurture the GEG MVV and Asian Heart philosophy programs, identified programs from Training Needs Analysis
  • Supports the Senior Manager in setting up industry-recognized standards for program design and development and quality assurance practices
  • Accountable for development of training video for GEG enterprise programs
  • Formalizes, implements & evaluates operations learning strategies
  • Supports the Senior Manager to govern learning materials development such as participant guide, facilitator guide, learning props, assessment...etc.
  • Works closely with internal teams to identify strategy and learning solution to achieve the best outcome for each learning program
  • Ensures departmental learning programs and related materials comply with GEG design and development standards, and provides guidance to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Strives for continuous improvement on program design/development across GEG
  • Manages multiple projects and ensure outcomes are achieved within established timelines
  • Performs all duties in accordance with Galaxy Entertainment Group policies and within the realm of the company’s Mission, Vision and Values
  • Delivers programs when required such as initial pilot delivery on a designed program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Design / film studies / cinematography or related field or related field preferred
  • 3+ years in video production
  • 3+ years in a training & development management role required
  • Proven work experience as a Video Producer
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
  • Read, write, speak and understand English, proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred
  • Proven Project Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
