Attendant - Public Area

Position Summary

To provide a professional cleaning service throughout the resort ensuring that the resort’s presentation is always of a five start standard. Establish a good working relationship with colleagues and maintain a positive interaction with guests.

Primary Responsibility

• Check personal hygiene and be well groomed; • Always wear a clean and tidy uniform; • Always be friendly and courteous in the spirit of “Asian Heart”; • Work in a supportive and flexible manner with all departments with a sincere and positive attitude; • Maintains all operating equipment in good, clean working order; • Clean and maintain all FandB outlets, Casino, Elevators, Lobby, Offices, Employee Back of House areas and Resort perimeter; • Sweeps, mops and polishes floors; • Vacuum, spot clean and shampoos carpets; • Vacuum wall coverings and carpets; • Cleans furniture, fixtures, glass and mirrors; • High dust ceilings, lights and air conditioning ducts; • Polish all brass and metal surfaces; • Clean and sanitize public area washrooms; • Replenishes all paper supplies in all washrooms; • Completes correct inventory of fabric hand towels in washrooms; • Perform the duties of washroom attendant; • Maintains the cleanliness in front of house and back of house areas; • Maintains cleanliness in all storage areas; • Reports all engineering related issues for repair; • Follows the correct standard on recycling; • Follows the correct standard on energy consumption; • Comply with departmental and hotel policies and procedures; • Perform other duties as requested by Managers/Supervisors.

Requirements

• Primary school graduated; • Pleasant and friendly manner; • Fit and healthy; • No previous experience required; • Fluent in spoken Cantonese or Mandarin; • Able to read in Cantonese or Mandarin.
