Job Summary
Responsible for providing a professional service to all employees. Build and foster a relationship with our key hotel partners which are a critical component of the role as the Wardrobe Department forms a significant portion of the shared services across the resort.
Primary Responsibility
- Ensure the operations within the Wardrobe area operate efficiently & professionally
- Maintain a high standard of service excellence to all employees requiring uniform allocation
- Attend to Wardrobe service counter when required ensuring a fast efficient & effective service is provided to employees at all times
- Ensure uniforms are sorted, labeled, maintained efficiently & accurately
- Maintain a professional working relationship within the Wardrobe Department & to all fellow employees
- Maintain computer system recording of daily duties performed
- Be attentive at all times of staff complaints relative to the Wardrobe Department operations & report complaints to a Supervisor
- Ensure the work is kept in a clean & orderly manner at all times
- Inspect uniform items to determine mending, altering or replacement requirements
- Check accessories, ties, buttons
- Check conveyor slots
- Check & tidy uniform spare stock
- Cross check of soiled/clean garments from Smartable
- Recycle damaged uniforms to best use possible
Requirements
- Minimum secondary level education
- Previous experience in clothing industry or commercial laundry
- Knowledge of hand sewing techniques
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
