Position Summary

The "Attendant - Wardrobe" is responsible for providing a professional service to all employees. Build and foster a relationship with our key hotel departments which are a critical component of the role as the Wardrobe Department. The incumbent will be an outgoing person who enjoys working, communicating and engaging with our customers and team members in every activity everyday.

Primary Responsibility

• Ensure the operations within the Wardrobe area operates efficiently and professionally by constantly produces quality workmanship and maintains a harmonious working environment. • Maintain a high standard of service excellence to all employees require uniform allocation. • Attend to Wardrobe service counter when required to ensure a fast, efficient and effective service is provided to employees at all times. • Ensure uniforms are sorted, labeled, maintained efficiently and accurately. • Maintain a professional working relationship within the Wardrobe Department and to all fellow employees. • Ensure work is kept in a clean and orderly manner at all times. • Inspect uniform items to determine mending, altering or replacement requirements. • Check accessories, ties, buttons etc. for any damage and replace. • Hang all the garments on Conveyor and back to stock after washed. • Check conveyor slots for damaged garments and replace. • Check and tidy uniform spare stock. • Label and arrange uniforms via uniform system (Autovalet). • Maintain uniform system (Autovalet) of daily performed duties. • Be attentive at all times of staff complaints related to the Wardrobe Department operations and report to Supervisor. • Maintain communication log of special incidents for follow up when necessary. • Cross check of soiled/clean garments from laundry company. • Recycle damaged uniforms to best use possible. • Assist in Stock Take and keep check on inventories in a regular basis. • Maintain a professional working relationship with all colleagues. • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum secondary level education. • Previous experience in clothing industry or commercial laundry. • Knowledge of hand sewing techniques. • Basic computer skills. • Ability to work in a team environment.
