Audit Associate

Position Summary

Audit Associate conducts audits and records revenue and expense transactions, analyzes financial data for discrepancies, and ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirement. Prepare detailed reports, collaborate with operational team to resolve issues, and assist in developing best practices for revenue recording through various system to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Their role promotes financial integrity, strives for continuous improvements and supports organizational success.

Primary Responsibility

• Conduct audits against non-gaming revenues such as F&B, Hotel, Entertainment and complimentary expenses precisely.
• Verify financial transactions in systems to ensure transactions are recorded in accounting system timely and accurately.
• Prepare journal entries for non-gaming revenues and complimentary expenses.
• Assist to prepare daily operating reports and management reports as assigned.
• Perform random audits and/or counts to detect cash over/short variance for compliance.
• Maintain a proper tracking record for issued/redeemed slips & coupons.
• Support in adhering to compliance of internal policies and procedures and external regulatory requirement.
• Assist in planning, execution and documentation of the audit work program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in Business/Accounting/Finance, or related fields.
• Member of recognized professional accountancy institution or experience in accounting or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Good knowledge of hospitality system, business process and accounting system is a plus.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and VBA skills are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, self-motivation and team spirit.
