Position Summary

Provide professional and personalized service to VIP guests. Respond promptly to guests’ requests and do everything possible to make their stay enjoyable. Ensure the VIP guest experience on the butler floor is memorable by exceeding guests’ expectations.

Primary Responsibility

  • Ensure the room is ready before guest arrival (e.g. welcome amenities set up, special occasion room decoration, prepare / make welcome drinks).
  • Perform in room check-in/out, deposit handling, luggage assistance, room orientation, handle phone calls from butler floor guests including in room dining orders.
  • Perform simple pressing, packing and unpacking, shoes shine and wake-up call services upon guest request.
  • Handle all pertinent matters affecting guest service and Hotel Operations.
  • React to situations to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition throughout the hotel.
  • Respond to guest needs and resolves related problems.
  • Ensure VIP guests receive special attention.
  • Provide 24/7 personalized service at the highest level befitting the five star standard.
  • Escort and/or provide Attached Butler Services to guest within property as required (and out of property on request).
  • Attend to all the wants and needs of the butler floor VIPs.
  • Consistently seek new and innovative service initiatives to “wow” the butler floor VIPs.
  • Ensure that the condition of all the butler floor suites are consistently well maintained and equipped according to the company’s standard.
  • Do everything possible to ensure that the guests depart the Hotel with a positive impression of the Hotel services.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of butler pantry and that its condition is well maintained and equipped.
  • Ensure that all Butler equipment are accounted for and are always in good condition.
  • Is fully conversant with all Hotel emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Butler or Executive floors preferred
  • Knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations
  • Effective communicator both in written and spoken English, Cantonese or Mandarin.
  • Knowledge of another foreign language other than the ones mentioned above is an advantage.
