Position Summary

This role is responsible for assembling recorded footage into polished video content that aligns with our brand and storytelling goals and work closely with Sr. Editor on enhancing the media quality. The position has a strong visual sense, technical editing skills, and a passion for crafting compelling narratives through video.

Primary Responsibility

  • Edit raw footage into engaging video content for various platforms (social media, web, internal use, etc.)
  • Collaborate with producers, designers, and marketers to understand project goals and creative direction.
  • Add music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video content.
  • Manage and organize video assets and project files.
  • Stay up to date with video trends, editing techniques, and platform requirements.
  • Optimize videos for different formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field is an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing or post-production.
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Resolve software in Mac environment. Knowledge in other editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar is a plus
  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • A strong portfolio or reel showcasing your editing work.
  • Experience with color grading and audio mixing is an advantage
  • Knowledge of camera formats, codecs, and export settings
  • Multilingual editing experience or localization knowledge is preferred
  • Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese and/or Mandarin, and good knowledge of both spoken and written in English
