Position Summary

- Lead the team and manage the strategic direction of cigar component as well as provide relevant service to F&B outlets
- Responsible for the entire onboard cigar program to include sales, training, inventory and proper requisitioning procedures
- Responsible for developing cigar menus and besides service bring stories to the customers including tasting notes, story on cigar background
- Responsible for financial performance for cigar component towards optimum efficiency, to identify or create opportunities to help maximize the profitability through prudent application of revenue management rules, encouraging upsell programs, managing hotel inventory and managing labor productivity and general expenses

Primary Responsibility

- Responsible for the entire onboard cigar program to include sales, training, inventory, requisitioning procedures and ensure proper inventory management practice
- Responsible for developing cigar menus and besides service bring stories to the customers including tasting notes, story on cigar background
- Lead and coach the overall cigar team of outlet operations with clear defined goals
- Responsible for ensuring cigars quality, hygiene and work place safety established standards are achieved
- Accountable for cigars inventory and sales 
- Lead the team to organize cigar deliveries for the events, including events for VVIP and celebrities
- Analyze the sales trends and provide report and proposals to Management for the action plans
- Research and development of operations process and/or equipment
- Responsible for recruitment in selecting the most qualified/suitable candidates
- Reports maintenance needs and ensures that all equipment is in proper condition and meets the safety standards
- Responsible for the team's health and safety by ensuring all team members adhere to personal hygiene standards
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. 
- Co-owner of the financial performance of operations, along with Exec. Chef and Executive Managers F&B
- Representing cigar service team for inter-outlet/department collaborations

Requirements

- Diploma in Hospitality/Management
- Bachelor Degree in Hospitality/Management is an added advantage
- Degree/certificate in accredited cigar program (eg. Certified Cigar Master, or Cigar Sommelier Certificate) is a plus
- 8 years at a 5-star hotel or reputable restaurant and/or bar
- 5 years Supervisory experience at reputable cigars outlet (retail and/or bar)
- F&B product and service knowledge
- Knowledgeable with cigar 
- Advance customer service skills
- Leadership and management skills
- Computer literate with business report writing skills
- Fluent with Cantonese or Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
