Gym Instructor (Pool & Gym)

Position Summary

Responsible for delivering a quality customer service experience and professional gym services through conveying a positive, welcoming and greeting to guests and visitors to the property designated by the company in accordance with five star service standards.

Primary Responsibility

• Assist guests and visitors by taking enquiries or cancellations; convey all information to Pool and Gym Attendants or follow up if necessary • Lead every new guest in and introduce the usage of the hotel's gym equipment as well as how to use resort's facilities • Ensure that guests follow the rules and safety regulations stipulated by the GEG and laws of Macau while using the facilities • Satisfy guests requests for information by displaying and extensive knowledge of the Pool and Gym and other resort facilities • Provide assistance to guests/visitors with towels, lockers and hotel amenities in the changing rooms as required. Ensure that towel and any addition amenities are distributed to guest and include a good stock inventory • Maintain the Pool and Gym reception area according to five star standards ensuring retail products are displayed appropriately and all racks are neat and orderly.

Requirements

• High school graduated or above • Qualified in Fitness Coaching • Obtained the qulification of Fintenss Coaching and qualification of Adult First Aid • Previous experience in a five star hotel customer service role is preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office application; experience with Opera is preferred • Knowledge of/interest in the sport, leisure and/or hotel industry would be highly preferred • Relevant sports qualification is an advantage • Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Additional Asian language is advantage
