The Manager - BI & Data Reporting is responsible for designing and implementing data-centric solutions that support business growth, inform business decisions, and drive operational efficiency. This role involves understanding business requirements, analyzing processes, and developing data solutions, including ETL/ELT coding, database & architecture design, business intelligence dashboards, predictive analytics, and machine learning. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple platforms and data domains in GEG, spanning across all business pillars including gaming, hotel, F&B, MICE, etc.
Primary Responsibility
• Tackle high-impact business challenges using advanced analytical technologies, including machine learning, simulation, reinforcement learning, graph algorithms, and optimization.
• Design and implement custom algorithms that operate at scale to solve real-world problems, such as workforce optimization, sales enhancement, operational efficiency, and waste prevention.
• Design and develop scalable and efficient data repositories that integrate and ingest sizeable, structured, and unstructured data from various sources.
• Optimize queries, data models, and ETL processes to improve system performance and ensure efficient data retrieval. Responsible for data cleansing, mapping, transformation, logging, and exception handling processes.
• Perform complex data analysis, identify insights, utilize data science techniques to support business growth initiatives.
• Support Company AI/machine learning strategies, provide technical and business consultation to deploy tools to maximize business opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies that drive decision-making.
• Push the boundaries of innovation by experimenting with the latest tools and techniques in AI, ML, and data science.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technology, analytics, business management, or consulting roles.
• Experience with coding in Python, SQL, R, VBA, etc.
• Experience with data analytics with Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.
• Experience with database technologies such as ClickHouse, NoSQL, SQL Server, Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, etc.
• Experience with deploying AI and data science solutions to deliver business outcomes.
• Experience with schema design, data modeling, ETL, handling large data sets, and working with structured, unstructured, and geographical datasets.
• Experience with project management with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver on time and within scope. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• A master of at least 3 of the following:
- Monte Carlo / Agent-Based Simulation
- Graph Algorithms
- Customized Algorithm Design
- Reinforcement Learning
- RNN/LSTM/Transformer
- Machine Learning
- Time Series Forecasting
