Position Summary

The Optimization Manager - is responsible for developing meaningful analysis based on business financials and other budget/actual cost analysis against established Property KPIs, whilst also supporting all stakeholders to understand and analyze their business models using key workforce Planning and optimization Labor metrics and analytics.

Primary Responsibility

• Analyze Workforce Planning metrics and translate them into meaningful analytics to monitor trends, and monitor actions against key labor performance indicators. 
• Perform large scale data collections and simulations to develop complex analyses of Labor metrics/analytics and initiatives 
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and COE to determine performance targets and develop key metrics, controls and business analytics, to drive business performance 
• Provide insights and conclusions on trends and analysis 
• Define and maintain Workforce Planning and Optimization analytical reports 
• Train Business users in BI tools 
• Liaise with key stakeholders to develop consistent global BI tools that aid decision making.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role, is essential
•  Highly analytical and numerate, with the ability to investigate, conceptualize and evaluate potential opportunities to support business strategies
• Advanced Excel skills are essential
• Knowledge of SAP HCM is desirable
• Have strong experience in data warehouse projects; experience in SAP-based data warehouse projects is a strong advantage.
• Is commercially focused with the ability to use external measures and concepts to drive internal business decisions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information to a diverse audience 
• Able to consult and influence with the business effectively
• Good Analytical and communication skills, and be able to work under pressure
• Exposure to rostering software and a background in labor allocation techniques is desirable
• Have strong experience in data warehouse projects; experience in SAP-based data warehouse projects is a strong advantage.
