Position Summary

The Revenue Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of revenue management strategies and processes by the VP of Revenue Management to optimize the revenue of different properties. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing inventory and pricing strategies, and collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment with the overall business goals.

Primary Responsibility

Revenue Optimization:

  • Optimize hotel revenue by executing tailored daily rate strategies by Vice President of Revenue Management, based on booking pace and trends. Proactively alert management to any risks of not meeting targets.
  • Perform quantitative analysis and methodologies for yield optimization, reporting, and modeling to support ongoing improvements in revenue decision-making.
  • Advocate good revenue management practices with senior management and throughout the resort.
  • Track and report results against business targets, evaluate performance, and advise on areas for improvement.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
  • Quote and accept group requests according to the nature of the group and company policies.

Distribution Strategy and Management:

  • Execute and monitor distribution strategies to optimize hotel inventory across all channels, including OTAs, the brand website, WeChat, and other booking platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance, provide data-driven data for management to optimize distribution.
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless distribution operations.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Review regular reports prepared by the team, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Prepare special information/statistical projects and statistical/analytical data as requested by management.
  • Provide data support for management and internal review.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Provide weekly dynamic forecasts of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons.
  • Prepare the annual revenue budget for different properties in accordance with the direction of senior management.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the team to ensure all data and reports presented are accurate and meet the requirements of senior management.
  • Train and mentor the team on report generation, data analysis, and revenue management skills to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the development of Galaxy Macau’s marketing strategies to increase volume and hotel revenue.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Skills / Abilities / Presence:

  • High computer literacy with a high-level command of Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI, SQL or other data analysis tools and language.
  • Proficiency in distribution systems and tools, including Opera PMS, channel distribution systems, CRS, Extranets.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and high-pressure situations.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
