Position Summary
Consult and partner with Table Games Operations Management to assess the performance requirements within the department to identify training or related training interventions/solutions in response to identified needs. Work with the Organization Development and Training Team to customize and implement Technical Skills, Guest Service, Gaming Management, Leadership and Executive Development programs for Table Games Operations. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Establish relationships with external training providers, consultants, local colleges and universities’ to build a network of support within the community that ensures timely and quality delivery of learning and development programs to our Team Members.
Primary Responsibility
• Consult on a regular basis with Table Games Operations Management to identify and deliver performance solutions in response to issues and business opportunities within their departments.
• Provide guidance and advise to Table Games Operations Management Teams in developing training plans that ensure timely and effective use of in-house trainers, off-site and on-site training facilities, etc.
• Design, develop, deliver and evaluate training and development programs based on the end-users’ needs.
• Deliver corporate or departmental programs to support talent development and business needs
• Oversee the administrative function including electronic file management, records keeping, course registration, employee certification and career development plans.
• In consultation with Table Games Operations Management evaluate technical and guest service programs to ensure the curriculum and delivery methodology is effective in achieving learning objectives.
• Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of regulatory and compliance training programs.
• Provide direction and oversight departmental training team in respect to learning program management, classroom and facilitates management practices
• Oversee the delivery of training by training and development team and provide coaching to improve overall the classroom learning experience for GEG team members
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training development processes
• Manage multiple projects/priorities and achieve results in a highly collaborative and complex organizational structure within the established timelines
• Partners with Senior Manager, Training and development to lead the implementation of Learning Strategies
• Lead a specialized group of operation trainers ensuring operations training is being carried out the required standards
Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred.
Required Experience
• 3-5 years in a gaming / hospitality integrated resort experience with an emphasis on gaming preferred
• 3+ years in a training and development management role required
Required Knowledge
• Experience in project design and management.
• Experience in conducting needs analysis and curriculum development.
• Knowledge of Casino Operations nd in particular Table Games and Electronic Gaming (preferred)
• Knowledge of needs analysis, curriculum development and evaluation techniques.
• Knowledge of performance effectiveness principles and practices.
Skills / Abilities / Presence
• Read, write, speak and understand English, proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred
• Proven analytical and organizational planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Liaison, consultation and relationship building skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects.
• Ability to design, develop and deliver a range of learning and development programs.
• Be willing to work any day and any shift.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Work inside and continuously maneuver in and around all areas of the offices.
Possess good manual dexterity. / Possess the manual dexterity to operate office equipment including a telephone, computer, photocopy machine, fax machine, multi-media equipment.
Respond to visual and aural cues.
