Officer - Systems & Access Control

Position Summary

The position is responsible for providing 24/7 security systems technical and maintenance supports at GEG properties, ensuring that all security systems comply with industry best practices, and respond to any security related system issues which are vital for operational support. 

Primary Responsibility

•Project good customer service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and communication with all customers
•Carry out corrective service and preventative maintenance on electronic access control equipment, professional mobile radio, electronic key cabinet, mechanical keying, hotel guest locks, hotel in-room safes, and high security door & ironmongery items in a professional and customer-oriented manner
•Supervising installation and verification of maintenance activities on security related equipment, basic system programming, testing and commissioning
•Administering property access rights for internal and external staffs
•Maintain concise and accurate reporting and data for all security related Systems
•Produce and analyze reports to help mitigate possible security threats, monitor and improve access control day to day operations
•Communicates with management, contractors and vendors about system concerns
•Inspects building and facilities for conformance to building code and safety requirements 
•Maintain up to date knowledge of various security product lines
•Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

•Secondary school graduated or equivalent
•Physically fit and healthy
•Must be available to perform shift duty
•Good communication skills in Chinese and English
