Position Summary

Operations Manager assists Senior Operations Manager in the management of the security and safety program to provide a protective service of safety and assets to the company and guests. Operations Manager is responsible for the supervision of Security Operations Team and the management as well as the development of security personnel to ensure the performance of teams. 

Primary Responsibility

- Assist Senior Operations Managers in leading the Security Operations Team and in the allocation of responsibilities according to the team members’ capacity, knowledge and skills.
- Maintain working relationship with all departments and relevant government agencies.
- Conduct communication meetings with departmental leaders or other managerial executives to plan and coordinate security supports whenever needed.
- Coordinate emergency situations such as evacuation and keep Senior Operations Manager or above informed when necessary; ensure that follow-up actions are carried out at the satisfactory standards.
- Carry out HR&A practices such as interviewing and hiring of staff to fill vacant positions, undertaking employees' performance reviews,  disciplinary actions and so on.
- Prepare weekly, monthly or annual reports; ensure that all information/reports required by VP Security are submitted in a timely manner.
- Coordinated with Security Training Team to team members to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of performance at a satisfied level.

Requirements

- High school graduated, University degree and Police/disciplinary force background is preferred. 
- 8 – 10 years of experience in security/law enforcement and investigations at supervisory/management level.
- Excellent leadership and problem solving skills with a high level of customer services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal managements and external authorities, inculding  local law enforcement and gaming control authorities.
- Knowledge of Macau Gaming regulations.
- Knowledge of providing public safety security within a large size hotel or casino environment.
- Knowledge on various security programs and security equipment.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese.
