Project Manager (D&D, Project Management)

Position Summary

The Project Manager - Project Management is responsible for the management and delivery of the approved design and construction of minor capital projects and amendment and alteration works for Galaxy Macau and within Galaxy Entertainment Group properties.

Primary Responsibility

1. Must be able to coordinate with Design, MEP and Commercial Team to understand design direction, review drawing sets and understand detailing to ensure that tender sets are complete and ready for tender.
2. To prepare and consolidate all required information and documents, including scope of work and program etc. during the tendering stage.
3. Deliver projects on time, to budget and agreed quality standards through robust site and project management methods, throughtout the pre-construction, construction and post construction stages.
4. Participate and monitor site safety and environment matters,work closely with in-house Safety Manager to supervise contractors' safety and environment.
5. Assist the Senior Project Manager in managing the development and stakeholder sign off, of detailed design/operation briefs, including operational requirements, brand positioning ,financial, logistical and time constraints.
6. Liaise closely with key stakeholders with respect to all works being undertaken on the site, to ensure clear information flow and minimum disruption to Galaxy Macau business units.
7. Assist the Senior Project Manager to engage and manage contractors and suppliers, external consultants, including specialist contractors and consultants (building services, feature lighting,graphics etc) ensuring they deliver a high quality of work and are cost and time efficient.
8. Assist Senior Project Manager to manage administartion and also make sure the operational annual budgets, KPls, metric are met.

Requirements

1. Degree in Architecture/Construction/Engineering Discipline
2. At least 10 years experience in building/construction industry and A&A works with ability to resolve design issues.
3. Experience in managing external consultants in a project delivery role
4. Strong demonstarted problem solving skills especially with regards to detailings at site.
5. Strong level communications skills in English and Chinese
6. Must be well versed with softwares like AutoCAD, Microsoft Office & Microsoft Projects. Knowledge of AutoCAD is also required.
