Project Manager (Project)

The Senior Project  Manager - project management is responsible for the management of the building design of capital projects and amendment and alteration works for Galaxy Macau.  As a senior PM, his role requires active involvement in managing a number of projects at vauious stages of the project cycle independently with minimal supervison.   He is required to assist the VP/AVP, and being the lead of his responsible projects to manage and coordinate the team, appointed consultants, stakeholders and contractors on all projects related matters to ensure the projects are completed on time, within budget and adhere to the required specifications and standard from project inception to handover.  

Job Responsibilities:

1. To coordinate and lead the Design, MEP and Commercial teams to implement design directions, review drawing sets and understand detailing to ensure that tender sets are complete and ready for tender.
2. Manage the team in order to deliver projects on time, to budget and agreed quality standards through robust site and project management methods.
3. Manage and motivate the team in a "performance culture" and ensure they are all accountable for their individual job responsibilities.
4. Ensure the department works as a cohesive team responding to the needs of the Galaxy Macau Business Units and Executive Management.
5. Oversee technical developments and keep abreast of emerging "best practice" as they relate to construction and facility managment and access their application with Galaxy Macau properties and off site facilities.
6. To coordinate the Statutory Submission issues with Permit & Licensing Department, Submission Consultants, IBC 3rd Parties Consultants and related Consultants.

1. Degree in Architecture/Construction/Engineering Discipline. Candidates with architectural background would be preferred.
2. At least 10 years senior position experience in Construction/Engineering industry, with 5 years minmium working in the Clients sector
3. International exposures and experience in managing external consultants in a project delivery role
4. Highly organized
5. Strong demonstrated problem solving skills especially with regards to detailings at site.
6. Can lead and motivate others and works within a team environment
7. Must be well versed in Microsoft Office & MS Projects. Knowledge of AutoCAD is also required.                                                                       
8. With BIM qualifications and expereince for 3D modelling A&A works would be an advantage but not a must                                                                         9. Fluent in speaking and writing English and Chinese.  
10. Resort, Theme Park, Water Park experience is preferred. 
11. International Building Code (IBC) Knowledge is preferred. 
12. Statutory Submission knowledge with Macau Code is preferred.
