Project Manager - Design Support

Position Summary

Reporting to SPM - Design, the main responsibilities are to create graphics, effects, or animations using computer programs and editing software in order to fulfill the developing projects across the Galaxy Complex.

Primary Responsibility

• Responsibilities include concept generation, space planning, schematic design and design development ultimately leading to construction documentation 
• Create photo realistic renders, walk through and fly bys utilizing specialized computer software to demonstrate project possible results during the design stage of projects.
• Research upcoming projects to help find new ways to create renders or animations.
• In the initial stages of a project, help conceptualize ideas and spaces to understand a design and formulate decision, understand the project requirements and develop high quality designs accordingly.
• Produce or update/change based on comments or suggestions. Projects will go through many iterations before the final design is approved.
• Meet with design teams or management to review projects and deadlines and agree on development timelines.
• Review and enhance 3D designs for existing products.  Manage documentation of both new and revised 3D designs. Develop product information packages including drawing specifications.
• Develop design layouts for complex projects using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and develop primary sketches and models for final selection of product designs.
• Investigate and research current trends in Render & Animation production to advance their techniques and develop industry best images.
• Collaborate with in-house team and consultants throughout the phases of the project through successful completion

Requirements

•  Higher Diploma / Degree in Architectural or Interior Design Studies / Construction Management discipline.
•  Proficiency in using AUTOCAD, 3D Max, Rhino, Vray, itoo, 3D Sky, Siege Shader, Microsoft Office and Photoshop
•  Experience in working with Design, Architect firms / Developers is essential.
•  At least 10 years experience in the building / construction industry.
•  Experience in hotel / casino project works highly regarded.
•  Demonstrates attention to detail.
