Room Attendant (Housekeeping)

Position Summary

To provide a professional cleaning service throughout the guest rooms and front and back of house areas on guest floors ensuring that the presentation is always of a five-star standard. Establish a good working relationship with colleagues and maintain a positive interaction with guests.

Primary Responsibility

• Maintain a professional appearance, clean uniform, and high grooming standards
• Work cooperatively with all departments in a positive and flexible manner
• Maintain housekeeping equipment in clean and good working condition
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently
• Check, replenish, and record minibar consumption accurately
• Report guest room defects and maintenance issues promptly
• Clean and service occupied, stayover, and departure rooms according to established standards
• Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors, elevator landings, and public areas on assigned floors
• Ensure room attendant trolleys, floor pantries, and service areas are well organized and maintained
• Follow company standards for waste management, recycling, and energy conservation
• Maintain and handle housekeeping equipment in accordance with operating standards
• Refresh flowers and plants in guest rooms as required
• Provide evening turndown service in accordance with hotel standards
• Attend training sessions and development programs as assigned
• Comply with all departmental and hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by Managers or Supervisors

Requirements

• Primary school education or above
• No prior experience required
• Pleasant, friendly, and customer-oriented
• Able to communicate in Cantonese or Mandarin
• Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
