Seamstress (Wardrobe)

Position Summary

Responsible for the repair and alteration of Team Member uniform and ensure the presentations of uniform/ outfits are well-maintained. Coordinate with Wardrobe Supervisor to ensure the quality, durability and construction of uniform are with high standard.

Primary Responsibility

• Alters uniform, outfit and joins parts, using needle and thread or sewing machine, to form finished garment.

• Responsible for the uniform fitting and measurement of new joined and existing Team Members.

• Serve Team Members’ with company service standard as they are the internal guests of Wardrobe.

• Maintain a sufficient stock of seamstress tools and equipment to enable effective production process.

• Maintain an effective inventory record by conducting physical inventory tracking regularly.

• Advise Wardrobe Supervisor of sizes needed for orders after fittings.

• Make good use of damaged uniforms in a sustainable way.

• Strictly abide by the departmental Standard Operating Procedures while at work.

• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Secondary educational level is required.

• Previous working experiences in Seamstress/ Tailor field is an advantage.

• Sewing and Alteration skills are required.
