Senior Manager - Art & Design

Position Summary
The Senior Manager - Art & Design will be part of a new creative team responsible for the creative output of Employer Brand and New Developments projects. Additionally, this position will be also lead the charge in internalizing UX/UI work using HTML platform. On top of leading the team, this position must also be hands-on in producing the output.
Primary Responsibility
• Take a creative project from concept to execution, final production and adaptations to different sizes and media.
• Provide guidance to other members of the team in terms of art direction, technical proficiency with softwares.
• Create highly-appealing and engaging layout designs, photo retouching along with other graphic design items like collaterals and packaging.
• Provide directions for photography, motion graphic videos, photo retouching.
• Work with external vendors where necessary.
• Collaborate with team members from other creative functions like copywriters, photographers and also Brand Comms team members.
• Present and sell concepts to an audience comprising of senior people outside of the creative department.
• Maintain brand standards and guidelines.
• Executional excellence to ensure that all artworks are created to the highest accuracy, on time and on budget.
Requirements
• 10 years' experience in graphic and digital design
• Degree or diploma holder in graphic design or related disciplines
• Understand digital landscape especially of mainland China Social Media.
• Intimate working knowledge of the HTML 5 platform
• Software skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as Microsoft Powerpoint a must.
• Ability to conceptualise as well as design, plan and direct photography and motion graphics a must.
• Able to articulate concepts through the use of presentation tools like Powerpoint.
• Fluency in spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin & English.
• Ability to direct lifestyle as well as product photography a must.
• Solid understanding of all production/printer-industry technical requirements required
