Senior Manager - Corporate Branding

Position Summary
Reporting to the ASVP, Corporate PR, the Senior Manager - Design & Visual Communications leads the development, governance and execution of the Company’s corporate branding, visual communications and multimedia initiatives. This role oversees the design function and corporate visual identity across major corporate campaigns, events and communication platforms, ensuring consistency, creativity and compliance with established brand standards. The incumbent is also responsible for managing corporate visual assets, trademarks, digital brand properties, departmental operations and budget planning while driving the continuous enhancement of the Company’s corporate brand and visual presence.
Primary Responsibility
- Lead the planning, development and governance of the Company’s corporate branding, visual identity and design standards across all corporate and property-level communication channels and platforms.
- Serve as the custodian of the Company’s Corporate Identity (CI), ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines and compliance standards across all corporate communication materials, campaigns and initiatives.
- Oversee the branding, visual communications and content presentation for major corporate campaigns, events, programs, corporate website and corporate materials, ensuring alignment with brand standards, strategic objectives and project timelines.
- Direct the development and production of corporate visual and multimedia assets, including photography, videography, motion graphics, digital content and presentation materials that support the Company’s communication objectives.
- Manage and safeguard the Company’s corporate logos, trademarks, domains and other brand-related intellectual property assets, ensuring proper governance, protection and compliance.
- Establish and maintain a centralized repository of corporate visual assets, including logos, artworks, photographs and videos, ensuring appropriate archival, accessibility and usage control.
- Lead the development, procurement and lifecycle management of corporate souvenirs, branded merchandise and related corporate materials, while overseeing production vendors, photographers, videographers and other relevant suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery; proactively explore collaboration opportunities with local designers and creative talents to enhance brand visibility and support community engagement.
- Supervise and provide leadership, direction and mentorship to the team, ensuring effective resource allocation, workload prioritization, quality control and timely delivery of projects in accordance with agreed timelines.
- Develop, implement and continuously enhance SOPs, workflows, KPIs and governance frameworks, while managing departmental budgets and resources to strengthen operational effectiveness, service quality, compliance and cost efficiency across branding, design and multimedia functions.
- Provide strategic insights, brand governance reviews and recommendations to support senior management decision-making, resource planning and the long-term development of the Company’s corporate brand.
Requirements
- Bachelor degrees in Graphic Design/Multimedia Design, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in brand design or advertising (art-base), or other capacity related to visual/graphic design; previous work experience in a similar in-house role is an advantage.
- Possess a strong and diversified work portfolio focusing on the use of graphic design to enhance corporate/product branding.
- Experience of motion graphic and multimedia design is required.
- Preferably an Apple Mac user that possesses proficiency in design applications, including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Acrobat. Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of 3DS max, Maya, Cinema 4D or Artificial intelligence (AI) would be an advantage.
- Have good knowledge of print production and strong typography skills in Chinese and English.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines both independently and collaboratively without compromising on quality.
- Able to take a proper design brief; communicate effectively and present your/the team's design directions with humility.
- Creative in thinking and resourceful in execution; open to new ideas and take pride in your/the team's work.
