Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Event Services is tasked with facilitating the planning and execution of property events and activation campaigns supported by the Marketing Team. This includes resort-wide activation initiatives, special events, and the creation of festive campaigns aimed at achieving various marketing and business goals. The role demands significant experience collaborating with diverse event agencies or high-end production companies to ensure the delivery of high-quality event execution and installation. The candidate also need to support seamless event management, oversee budget planning, communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, conduct post-event evaluations, and identify opportunities for process enhancements. Regular travel is required for off-site production quality checks and events in China to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Primary Responsibility

• Develop and execute events and activation plans to support regular/festive/seasonal campaigns for all properties under GEG across all product pillars - resort, retail, F&B, MICE, entertainment 
• Liaise with outsource event, production and creative vendors/agencies to develop new ideas and concepts for events and installations 
• Develop event plans and identfy effective marketing ideas for resort campaign & decoration in special seasonal period such as CNY, Summer and Christmas; get budget approval from management
• Work closely with Marketing functional teams, operations teams and business units to fulfill business needs
• Liaise with external suppliers, contract performers to ensure high quality production
• Obtain feedback and make recommendations to improve event execution 
• Create and manage a network of external vendors and agencies for getting idea and concept for various property events
• Provide leadership and manage the event team to achieve the marketing goals in each event  
• Be responsible for developing strategic and broad base partnership with outside relevant vendors to ensure the smooth execution of events Travel to vendor's factory for production quality check
• Travels for event planning, tradeshow exhibition booth set up and event management
 

Requirements

Skills 
• Strong leadership qualities and relationship management skills, and proven experience delivering successful events
• Ability to lead large scale events with good project management skills 
• Critical thinking skills to anticipate and manage potential risks in different events
• High level of energy and strong passion to lead team members to successful completion of events and to ensure the delivery of a positive customer experience
• Superior time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment, meeting multiple tight deadlines
Qualification  
• Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in the field of event marketing, public relations and brand marketing communications. 
• Good command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, both written and spoken 
• Respective experience in local integrated resort is a plus
• Ability to carrying out planned projects independently and be flexible, work extra hours as needed 
• Experience working with production vendors, event agencies and advertising agencies for various functions
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• Creative in developing ideas into events and programmes
• Strong networks of external vendors and agencies for sourcing and planning the performance
