Position Summary

The Senior Manager LPO will report to AVP – LPO. This position will be responsible for managing labor performance and optimization activities including identifying key volume indicators, departmental labor standards, creation of presentations derived from requirements and data gathering from Managers and Senior Analysts, and communication with the AVP and related parties. This is a high visibility business partner role, which requires significant interaction with peers and senior management to understand and identify labor needs and business issues, translate data into actionable insights and to make recommendations.

Primary Responsibility

• Analyze labor performance results and assist AVP in determining recommendations to business partners.
• Lead Managers and Senior Analysts to develop presentation materials to present to BU’s and senior management. The goal is to derive a story of past performance and identifying enhancements to effectiveness and efficiency.
• Coaching to team, and create culture enabling development of high-performing individuals. Instill importance of develop plans and develop succession plans for future team growth. Plan, schedule, and manage the staff to promote efficiency in completing the job responsibilities.
• Interprets data and information derived through data analysis from the Managers and Senior Analysts to determine workforce planning opportunities to improve operating performance.
• Work with BU’s to determine applicable labor standards and zero manning levels for operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Lead direct reports in operating observations and time & motion studies.
• Performs all other job related duties as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar.
• 6 – 8 years of analysis experience in a high growth fast pace environment with demonstrated career advancement.
• Analytical background working directly in an operating environment with highly effective communications skills to identify labor standards within the functional departments.
• Prior experience providing analysist around labor performance and identifying opportunities for operating efficiencies.
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel, Work and PowerPoint. Able to derive summary presentations based on detailed data and information.
• Resume must reflect ability for critical thinking demonstrated by examples of specific projects and related outcomes.
• Possess a positive attitude, excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proactive, high energy, result oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines.
