Position Summary
This role is to oversee the storage, organization, and distribution of digital media assets across GEG organization. This role is critical in ensuring that all media content—images, videos, audio files, graphics, and other digital assets—is properly cataloged, easily accessible, and consistently maintained to support marketing, branding, and operational initiatives.
Primary Responsibility
- Develop and maintain a centralized digital asset management / media library system.
- Work closely with IS&T to develop and enhance a mechanism and system for managing media assets inventory
- Contributes to the company’s creative output, brand consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Organize, tag, and catalog media assets for easy retrieval and usage.
- Ensure media assets comply with brand guidelines, copyright laws, and licensing agreements.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to support content creation and distribution.
- Manage version control and archival of outdated or unused assets.
- Monitor asset usage and provide reports on performance and engagement.
- Train internal teams on best practices for accessing and using media assets.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners for asset delivery and usage rights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Management, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital asset management or media library coordination.
- Proficiency with DAM systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, Widen, etc.).
- Strong understanding of metadata, file formats, and media workflows.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with copyright and licensing standards.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage
- Understanding of cloud storage solutions and content management systems (CMS) is preferred
- Analytical skills to assess asset performance and usage trends.
- Fluency in Cantonese and English and /or Mandarin
