Senior Manager - Procurement

Position Summary
Reporting to the VP of Procurement, the Senior Manager is to support the IS&T software category teams to provide procurement services including but not limited to process purchase requests according to company procurement policies and processes. The incumbent shall apply analytical skills and show attention to detail in order to qualify quotations from supplier before Bid Analysis Review (BAR) preparation. The incumbent shall also have the ability to identify irregularities in the BAR. The Senior Manager will expect to lead complex project and to support other team members. The incumbent will be expected to develop and lead the team during the absence of the VP of Procurement.

Primary Responsibility
'1. Handle daily source by conducting RFQs and complex tendering
2. Issue orders and follow up on goods deliveries and/or service delivery standard and quality
3. Liaise with BU to confirm details on requirement prior to execution of bidding process
4. Conduct bidding process according to Procurement Policy and SOP
5. Review bid price submissions and identify potential irregularities
6. Verify price from suppliers where irregularities are identified
7. Conduct bid analysis
8. Prepare system documents to create codes or to update prices of existing items
9. Handle complex sourcing or major project management
10. Expect to develop and lead other team members
11. Additional responsibilities and not limited to the above list
Requirements
1. Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Hotel Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent (those with no degree but with extensive working experience will also be considered)
2. At least 10 years solid experience in sizable hospitality or related industry
3. Proficient understanding of local markets and how they operate
4. Work experience in procurement systems preferred
5. Proficiency in MS Office
6. Proficiency in Traditional Chinese and English, oral and written
7. High integrity with proactive personality
8 Able to communicate with internal users and suppliers
9 Candidate with team lead experience is preferred but not a must
10. Able to work independent and handle difficult situations
