Senior Manager - Procurement

Position Summary
Reporting to Assistant Vice President of Procurement, the incumbent is responsible for leading and managing procure-to-pay activities for Gaming Category including a) Gaming Equipments and b) Gaming Systems. The role involves developing and executing long term strategic procurement plans that ensures services/ products are provided to our business units in right quality, right time at right cost that yields the best value to our company.
Primary Responsibility
- As a key leadership team member of Gaming procurement team, be accountable for accelerating the transformation of Procurement Department and to support the growth of GEG. Primarily be responsible for the procurement-to-pay process process evolution and spend management of Gaming Business Category of GEG
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies for establishing sustainable and scalable supplier base with right capabilities, capacity and quality standard in all areas of spend in the categories;
- Develop detailed Scope of Works (SOW) and KPIs for all Gaming related sourcing including Gaming equipments, gaming softwares , services and furnitures
- Develop annual business plans and savings projections for each category under management, to meet and/or exceed annual target;
- Develop market and industrial knowledge of the categories under management and constantly up with market trends, data and new technologies;
- Work closely with Gaming Team and has a good understanding of DICJ or other regulatory requirements related to Gaming.
- Build excellent and sustainable working relationship with other heads of department of respective category and be seen to be a valued business partner recommending solid procurement solutions for achieving stakeholders' business objectives;
- Work with AVP Procurement to lead effective Supplier Management Programme including supplier performance, supplier relationship and account;
- Ensure all procurement activities are in compliance with the company policy and procurement standard operating procedures;
- Have a clear understanding of business priorities and objectives of different functional organization and be able to develop strategies to meet objectives.
- Assists VP and AVP of Procurement (Gaming) to provide guidances to team members and to act as acting leader during the absence of VP/AVP - Procurement
Requirements
- University degree in legal, business, finance supply chain or other relevant field.
- 12-year's relevant experience in procurement with team management experience preferred.
- Proven track record in business transformation and change management.
- Demonstrated ability to build teams.
- Highly effective in communication and problem solving.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese as well as writing business proposals and reports.
- High integrity with business acumen and attentive to details.
- Sensitive to cultural difference and be able to work across cultures.
