Position Summary

To support VP, Special Projects in coordinating and collaborating between business stakeholders across GEG departments for effective achievements of overall special projects

Primary Responsibility

  • Conduct ad hoc and assigned research at the direction of the Vice President and Senior Management, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of ongoing research initiatives and operational projects.
  • Assist in business and market strategic analysis on a regular basis to support strategy formulation and monitor industry and market developments.
  • Provide analytical support with a basic financial perspective, including review of budgets, cost comparisons, investment metrics, and business performance indicators where required.
  • Manage executives’ diaries, appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries with a high level of accuracy and discretion.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to prepare presentation materials, briefing notes, and meeting minutes for senior-level meetings.
  • Assist in project coordination, scheduling, and logistics, acting as an effective liaison between internal teams and external counterparties.
  • Support collection, consolidation, and presentation of financial and operational data for management review.
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned by Senior Management.
  • Provide general administrative support when required.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Foundational knowledge in financial analysis, including budgeting, cost control, basic financial modeling, and interpretation of financial statements, is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively across departments, including close collaboration with operational and finance-related teams.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven capability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings involving multiple departments and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, research, analytical, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive business and financial information.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and results-driven individual with a strong sense of ownership.
