Senior Officer - Compliance

Position Summary

The Senior Officer will assist in a number of tasks relating to the gaming operations of GEG. The primary focus of the Compliance Department is to ensure that regulatory requirements are understood and met by both GEG and our VIP Room Operators. This must be done in such a manner that protects GEG interests whilst maximising business opportunities and adding value to the companies standing and reputation. The Senior Officer will be integral to this as a representative of GEG.

Primary Responsibility

High Value Transaction Reports (ROVE) • To assist and supervise the Officers in the review and correction of ROVEs from both GEG and VIP Room Operators. • Liaise with the GEG, VIP Room Operators to make corrections and update identified ROVEs. • Assist management with internal, external and regulatory audits of ROVE process. Know Your Customer • To support management in all Know Your Customer programs • Understand due diligence requirements and be able to use Worldcheck and other screening tools. • Assist to evaluate potential AML/CFT/PEP risks and escalate such to management. VIP Room Operators • Assist management in the preparation and submission of formal promoter agreements and renewals to the DICJ. Training • Assist in the training and development of Officers in the Compliance Department. Other • Participate in the ongoing development of the Compliance Department by providing input on regulatory issues, international standard and practices. • Develop an understanding of Suspicious Transactions and subsequent reporting requirements • Other ad hoc duties from time to time.

Requirements

• 2 or more years in a highly regulated industry. • Experience in operational gaming or casino cage an advantage. • Experience in financial compliance related work an advantage. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines. • Team player. • Reasonable command of English • Positive energetic attitude. • Self-motivated.
