Senior Officer - Media Relations

Position Summary

Senior Officer – Media Relations will support the development and execution of media promotion initiatives to enhance the company's corporate reputation and CSR efforts. The role also provides support in working with various departments, assisting with media coordination, and helping to prepare communication materials. 

Primary Responsibility

• Assist in planning and executing media promotion campaigns aimed at strengthening the company’s corporate brand image and promoting corporate social responsibility efforts across targeted markets.
• Liaise with different business units to align messaging and campaign objectives, ensuring coordinated efforts and positive publicity across media channels.
• Support media outreach  with local and regional media representatives; help coordinate media interviews, press events, and shooting logistics when required.
• Draft and edit various corporate communications materials, including press releases, Q&A documents, speeches, letters, and talking points when required.
•Monitor local and regional news coverage daily, conduct media clipping, and compile market intelligence reports  in a timely and structured format.

Requirements

• Certificates and/or degrees in communications/public relations/ marketing is preferable;
• At least 2 years experiences working in public relations in Macau is preferable;
• Understanding of the Chinese culture are protocols;
• Knowledge and good relationships with the media; 
• Fluent in English and Cantonese and able to communicate with different groups of people on different levels;
• Demonstrate team spirit and cooperation;
• Act with professionalism and integrity;
• Ability to work long hours;
• Computer literacy.
