Senior Officer - Procurement

Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the incumbent is responsible for assisting in managing and supporting procurement related activities for the designated gaming areas.   Maintain close communication with business units and suppliers ensuring efficient productivity and effective sourcing.

Primary Responsibility

'Support sourcing of products and services by conducting RFQs or bidding according to Procurement Policy and SOP
Support Bid Analysis Review (BAR)
Issue POs/WO and expedite goods/service deliveries 
Support in procurement negotiation
Handle LVS Sourcing for Gaming
Support BU urgent request with quick turnaround time 
Work with Project Management to drive results for each gaming related project
Provide support to superiors on procurement activities
Build strategic partnership with suppliers.
Ensure the compliance of procurement policy and procedures
Liaise and communicate with internal users and suppliers
Able to handle stress in a fast pace environment
Additional responsibilities and not limited to the above list

Requirements

'Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Gaming Management or equivalent is preferred. 
3 years experience preferably in hospitality, gaming environment or related industry. Sourcing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Understanding of local markets and supplier pool and how they operate. 
Work experience in procurement systems is preferred. 
Proficiency in MS Office 
Proficiency in Traditional/Simplified Chinese and English, oral and written 
High integrity with proactive personality 
Able to communicate with internal users and suppliers 
Posses good communication and negotiation skill
