Senior Project Manager (MEP Support)

Position Summary

Primary Responsibility

• Monitor and supervise consultants in developing electrical and HV design and lifts and escalators installations, preparing technical specifications, and tender packages and performing site supervisions.
• Liaise with CEM for electrical/HV related submissions and inspections.
• Monitor and supervise consultants on electrical system design and installations including dimmer and UPS installations etc.
• Review and comment on consultants’ submissions including engineering design, design report, technical reports etc.
• Assist in value engineering of consultants’ design and source of alternative suppliers.
• In collaboration with other teams, to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Work, coordinate with and provide support to other teams in resolving key engineering issues that may affect the master plan or impair the progress of work.
• Assist in providing engineering support for and communicate closely with the Design Team on new/modified designs on the projects.
• As people manager to manage subcordinates including Project Managers and Assistant Manager.                       
• Provide full technical support to Project Lead and Fuctional Support in resolving electrical design and installation problems.                

Requirements

• High Certificate/High Diploma/Degree holder in Electrical Engineering or related studies. 
• Minimum 25 years’ experience in electrical engineering. 
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in working with MEP consulting firm and with design experience in hotel, casino resort and multi-purposes projects.
• Experience in large scale complex projects in Macau is preferred.
