Senior Technician (Operations)

Position Summary

Support technical daily operations and maintenance of Sound, lighting and video systems include operate of the Systems in the venues with Live Entertainment and Events.  

Primary Responsibility

• Working closely with supervisor on technical daily operation and maintenance of Sound, Lighting and Video Systems in the venues with Entertainment and events
• Operate a variety of lighting and sound systems
• Assist in maintaining tools equipment and consumables for the normal wear and tear maintenance of the systems in an cost effective way
• Propose suitable upgrade of the technical system to meet with the advancement of the market standard ensuring the quality of service 
• Liaise effective with other team members to ensure control and success of all projects.
• Assist on technical operations reports and related documents, such as daily report, inventory, maintenance checklist and technical rider.
• Carrying out routine technical support tasks and services,such as setup, tape duplication, cablings and maintenance checks on equipment

 

Requirements

• Over 3 years experience in a Stage Production, Theatre or Hotel Technical/AV team or Equipment Rental entity
• High School graduate or above
• Extensive knowledge of Sound, Lighting or Video System and production work
• Good command of written & spoken Cantonese, English & Mandarin
• Can work independently but with team work spirit, organized and patient
