Position Summary
Supervises schedules and evaluates Dispatch Attendant and Driver of Limousine Services as well as limousine Coordinators, ensuring all procedures of Limousine services provided to guests of Galaxy Macau, Banyan Tree Hotel and Hotel Okura are performed to the Hotel’s standards. Assist when necessary to ensure optimum service to guests/visitors.
Primary Responsibility
• Control order taking and dispatch.
• Prepare and analyze regular forecasts and reports.
• Ensure monitoring of vehicle is under GPS tracking system and properly managed.
• Monitor the service standard of our contracted limousine service provider, the conditions and cleanliness of vehicles. Communicate with the company whenever issues arise.
• Accept bookings and co-ordinate drivers to meet required vehicle and passenger demand.
• Schedule and assign dispatch attendant and driver as well as Limousine Coordinators breaks.
• Regularly inspect vehicle reports for maintenance and act upon promptly, including but not limited to undue wear to tires; low tire pressure, unusual vehicle engine noise, low water, oil or break fluid.
• Co-ordinate vehicle repairs, cleaning and refueling.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, inside and out; ensuring that drivers rectify any deficiencies.
• Maintain log of fuel consumption and refilling of vehicles.
• Ensure drivers fully understand vehicle features and amenities set up.
• Document pertinent information in the log book.
• Review status of assignments and any follow-up action with on-coming driver.
• Perform the duties as a licensed Driver when required to do so.
• Maintain positive guest relations.
• Coordinate and direct team members on parking activities and assign specific tasks as they arise according to the rotation sequence.
• Respect traffic / road instructions and regulations including speed limits.
• Regularly check mileage records for every trip.
• Maintain secure and accurate record of all vehicle keys and vehicle locations.
• Re-route traffic when parking facility reaches maximum capacity.
• Monitor and ensure dispatch attendant and drivers perform their job functions.
• Never argue with Guests or let other associates argue with Guests.
• Complete other assignments as directed by Assistant Manager - Limousine.
Requirements
• High school education or equivalent experienced preferred.
• Possess a valid driving license for sedan vehicles.
• Five years or above local driving experience.
• Hotel transportation experiences an advantage.
• Experience with computers or word processors.
• Previous Guest Relations training.
• Speak and understand English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Maintain good inter-Departmental relationships.
• Work any day of the week and any shift.
• Have a well groomed, professional appearance.
