Position Summary
Supervisor - P&D and PWF is responsible to support Assistant Manager/ Manger/ Senior Manager for the management of the P&D and PWF Team of Facilities Management (FM) to provide operation & maintenance (O&M) of the pool, water features facilities, plumbing and drainage (P&D) system for the Galaxy Macau Cotai precinct for the 24/7 running of all the business operations in Gaming, Hospitality, F&B, MICE and Administration, etc., in terms of business continuity, legitimacy, guest comfort and future development in a professional, work-efficient and cost-effective manner.
Primary Responsibility
- Support the Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager – P&D and PWF in overseeing the operation and maintenance (O&M), Alteration & Addition (A&A), and improvement/upgrade projects for swimming pools, water features, and plumbing & drainage (P&D) systems, whether managed in-house or outsourced, to ensure business continuity and support Gaming, Hospitality, F&B, MICE, and Administrative operations
- Assist in leading, coaching, and developing the P&D and PWF team to achieve operational excellence and service standards
- Maintain effective communication, coordination, and collaboration within Facility Management and across all GEG business units, vendors, and service providers
- Support the implementation and monitoring of approved O&M plans, including operation plans, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs, corrective maintenance (CM), and emergency repairs, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, brand standards, O&M manuals, and industry best practices
- Assist in executing and monitoring emergency response plans, crisis management procedures, and related contingency measures in accordance with approved policies, procedures, SOPs, and management directives
- Track and monitor approved Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and energy performance targets, reviewing and reporting results and recommending improvements where necessary
- Ensure effective implementation of O&M plans through site inspections, KPI tracking, and performance benchmarking to maintain compliance with statutory requirements, brand standards, and energy-saving targets
- Support sustainability, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), environmental, risk management, and quality assurance/control initiatives through active participation, training, and team engagement
- Provide technical guidance and support to Senior Technicians and Technicians in carrying out preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting activities
- Arrange and deliver practical on-the-job training and technical development programs for technicians
- Participate in company-organized training programs and development initiatives
- Provide engineering and technical support to all GEG business units as required
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management
Requirements
- Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant apprenticeship training is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of swimming pools, water features, plumbing & drainage systems, or CCMS, preferably within a 5-star hotel, resort, or large-scale facility environment.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Electrical Technician Assessment, Welding, Confined Space Safety, Working at Height, Mobile Aluminum Tower Safety) are an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, positive, and results-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability and commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Cantonese; knowledge of English and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
