Supervisor - Fire Safety

Position Summary

The Supervisor must have at least 6 years experience in fire operation, good conduct, leadership and good knowledge of all the tasks that the Security Officer has to carry out.

Primary Responsibility

• Lead the Fire and Safety Team in order to keep the property safe • Ensure all the fire escape route is free of obstacles • Chair the monthly Fire and Safety Meeting and prepare the minutes • Represent the Security Department to attend the meeting related to the Fire and Safety issue • Prepare the Fire Drill and liaise with all the departments and external agencies including Fire Department • Prepare the Emergency Procedure to Security Manager • Attend the Property Services Meeting and prepare the minutes • Supervise the performance of the Fire and Safety Team Members • Appraise the Fire and Safety Team Members • Recommend the promotion of the Special Team Members to Security Manager • Standby in the no. 8 cyclone and lead the Fire and Safety Team • Prepare the roster for the Fire and Safety Team • Liaise with the Training and Development Department for the First Aid course • Provide First Aid refresh course to the Security Team and other department if necessary • Represent the Security Department to attend the Fire and Safety seminar • Have regular internal meeting with Security Manager • Prepare report to Security Manager • Work closely with other Department including Project department and Engineering • Conduct investigation in the Fire and Safety incident if necessary • Give the Fire and Safety basic knowledge to the new staff in the Orientation

Requirements

• High school graduate, degree holder is an advantage • At least 6 years experiences in the Fire Department with supervisory level or in a sizeable Facility Department • Must be able to speak Cantonese and English, Mandarin is an advantage • Must be able to read and write Chinese and English • Proficient in PC applications • Good analytical skills and detail oriented • Able to rotate the shift to cope with the operation needs • With good presentation skills and report writing skills
