Position Summary
To assist the Front Services AM in overseeing and supervising the Front Services daily operations. To ensure that all Front Services team members are performing their respective job duties in accordance to SOP and service standards established by Galaxy Hotel.
Primary Responsibility
Assists the Front Services AM to oversee Cloakroom, Bell and Door operations and supervise all Front Services team members.
Oversees all Cloakroom Services and Bell Services operations. Supervises all Cloakroom and Bell Attendants and Bell Captains to provide luggage assistance to guests in an accurate and efficient manner and in accordance to standards established by Galaxy Hotel.
Maintains all Front Services assets and ensures that all items are cleaned, properly used, checked out and returned to the appropriate storage area.
Informs the Front Services AM of all pertinent information related to the team and reports irregularities and problems as they occur, along with suggestions for solutions.
Prepares and distributes daily operation reports and VIP and Groups arrivals/departures reports as requested by management.
Oversees operations at all Porte Cocheres, ensures that all Door Attendants are greeting, assisting guests proactively and in accordance to departmental SOP.
Monitors appropriate standards of conduct, uniform, grooming and service of all Front Services team members.
Handles problems associated with guests and prepares incident reports, then reports to the Front Services AM.
Resolves guest complaints, implements guest service recovery action to ensure guest satisfaction by creating exceptional hotel staying experience.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills: Full knowledge of Galaxy Hotel facilities and services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and supervisory skills is a must.
Education, Training Qualifications: Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant in supervisory level of Front Office in the hotel industry.
Personality: Initiative, highly organized and detail-oriented.
Languages: Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
Other Requirements: Knowledge of another foreign language other than the ones mentioned above is an advantage.
