Security Officer (Security, SW & CC)

Position Summary

Responsible for the overall operation of the Security Department.

Primary Responsibility

• The use of the Chain of command in all matters pertaining to the Security Department may it be about Security or personal.
• Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are strictly adhered to, and to report any breach of this policy or procedure to the Manager.
• Officer property against theft, fire, vandalism and illegal entry.
• Patrol the grounds or buildings periodically.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles in prohibited areas.
• Ensure that patrons entering the property meet all Galaxy Resort & Casino requirements.
• Escort inebriated patrons from the premises.
• Examine Doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are secured.
• Watch for and report any irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes and Security doors left unlocked.
• Remain alert and vigilant at all times.
• Develop skills and knowledge to effectively discharge their duties through training.
• Other duties as required by the Manager.

Requirements

• High school or above.
• Familiar with Security procedures. Physically fit and healthy.
• Maintain and conforms to uniform standards required by the Security Department.
• Good communication skills.
