Position Summary

The Senior Manager - Player Events & Promotions is responsible for developing and maintaining the player events and promotions calendar. Working closely with departments such as Gaming, F&B, Hotel, Planning and Analysis to develop programs that will be able to drive incremental gaming play and increase casino player's visitation. 

Primary Responsibility

• Maintain complete knowledge of events policies, procedures and service standards.
• Actively contribute to Ppecial Event & Promotion expansion in developing and executing collaborations with strategic partners to create casino related events and projects that deliver increased revenue, lower marketing costs, drive traffic and raise the awareness levels of the brand and property in the local, regional & international markets.
• Assemble and coordinate internal departments required to activate and manage execution of events pursuant to the agreed upon terms and conditions
• Create and maintain all event related documentation including but not limited to: fact sheets, guest invitations, tickets, work schedule/ assignments, Terms & Conditions, system configuration, scoring, prize structures, contracts, etc.
• Work with outside vendors in regards of RFP.
• Work with event organizers / sponsors to identify and evaluate potential event opportunities and recommend which to pursue based casino business, brand fit and ROI objectives.
• Develop and monitor budgets to ensure revenue and expenses are kept within established boundaries.
• Oversees all events and promotions, event accounting process and perpare Proformas for review.
• Review post-event analysis to determine whether or not an event was successful and be able to make improvements on future events/ promotions.
• Work closely with various Operations departments to understand the customer and be able to create promotions to drive incremental play and stay.
• Contribute to the development of Quarterly/ Annual departmental strategic plans.
• Lead, motivate, inspire and manage the team.
• Review financial information for accuracy, such as invoices for services and prepare the departmental financial report.
• Manage project schedules, timelines, operations, and execution.
• Consistently stay on-top of the latest technology to bring the latest player event & promotions to the market. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in Casino Marketing, with a strong background in event and promotion planning 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as social skills, negotiation skills, analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead a team under stress and tight timelines
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Have a strong technical background, experience in working with Casino Database systems
• Understand slot and table promotional programs
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products
